Description

You will administer J2EE applications and operating systems while providing technical consultation to developers on branching, merging, and environment maintenance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer J2EE applications across WebSphere, Tomcat, and JBoss environments.
• Manage operating systems including AIX, RHEL, and Windows Servers.
• Configure container resources such as JDBC and JMS alongside security settings.
• Perform VM tuning, application tracing, debugging, and deployment.
• Provide technical consultation to developers on branching, merging, and environment maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering J2EE applications in WebSphere (8/9), Apache Tomcat, and JBoss.
• 5+ years of experience with AIX, RHEL, and Windows Server operating systems.
• 5+ years of experience in J2EE-specific application hosting, VM tuning, and debugging.
• 3+ years of experience with automation using Ansible, UNIX shell scripting, Perl, or Python.
• 2+ years of experience with name/IP-based virtual hosts and clustering or load-balancing technologies.
• 2+ years of experience with container resource configuration (JDBC, JMS) and security.
• 2+ years of experience with J2EE build tools including Ant, Maven, or Ivy.
• 2+ years of experience or certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Skills

• 1+ years of experience with Bitbucket/Git configurations, branching, and merging.
