Description

You will provide onsite and remote Linux system administration and support for HPC and AI platforms. You own the full lifecycle of HPC server and cluster operations, from hardware installation to OS migrations.

Responsibilities

• Install, deliver, and administer HPC servers and clusters.
• Perform hardware installation, maintenance, and component troubleshooting.
• Execute OS installations, upgrades, and migrations without supervision.
• Collaborate with Level 3 teams for deep technical analysis and problem determination.
• Manage customer communications, project updates, and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration or troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Linux distributions including RHEL, CentOS, and SuSE.
• Hands-on experience with x86 server installation and performance tuning.
• Ability to perform high-level problem determination and technical decision-making.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for client interaction.
• Experience working on billable, customer-facing projects.
• Ability to work onsite in Ellendale, ND.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of system management protocols such as IPMI and SNMP.
• Proficiency with MS Office, including Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
