Description

You will drive the replication and deployment of mainframe technologies into cloud-based environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Replicate and deploy mainframe applications, data, and infrastructure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
• Migrate data from mainframe systems to cloud-based storage solutions.
• Ensure the security and compliance of cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues arising during the mainframe-to-cloud migration process.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with mainframe systems administration (z/OS, z/VM, z/VSE).
• 2+ years of experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Proficiency with scripting languages including Python and PowerShell.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or SaltStack.
• Strong knowledge of security and compliance best practices for cloud environments.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) or Mainframe certifications (IBM z/OS or z/VM).
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices including Jenkins, GitLab, and Docker.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
