Description

Manage and maintain physical data center infrastructure, hardware components, and operating systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot server hardware, components, and operating systems.
• Support the installation and configuration of networking equipment including routers, hubs, bridges, and switches.
• Monitor physical data center infrastructure, including HVAC and DG sets.
• Execute data center operations such as cabling, racking, power up/down, and managing DG sets during power failures.
• Lead small project teams for large-scale installations and contingency planning.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data center server and networking hardware environments.
• Hands-on experience with HP, Dell, EMC, NetApp, and Cisco hardware platforms.
• Proficiency in systems administration, installation, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of hardware architecture, maintenance, and repair.
• Knowledge of networking topology and protocols.
• Understanding of Disaster Recovery, High Availability (HA), and Operational Acceptance in production.
• Familiarity with Change Management, Incident Management, and Release/Configuration management processes.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as required.
• Ability to travel between adjacent buildings and locations up to 50% of the time.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using TRELLIS data center inventory management tool.
• L1.5 Infrastructure Operations experience.
