Description

Manage and secure Red Hat/CentOS Linux systems within a DoD-compliant environment while owning the full lifecycle of infrastructure automation and security compliance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Red Hat/CentOS Linux systems.
• Deploy infrastructure through automation using Kickstart, Podman, and Ansible.
• Implement and maintain security controls in compliance with RMF and DoD security frameworks.
• Integrate RMF principles into ground-up builds and manage security administration for RMF requirements.
• Create and manage containers in both Linux and Windows environments.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 7+ years with a Master’s Degree.
• Expertise in Red Hat/CentOS Linux systems.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Kickstart, and Podman.
• Proficiency with CI/CD, DevSecOps tools, and automated test frameworks.
• Experience with Jenkins, Jira, and Bitbucket.
• Practical knowledge of RMF and cybersecurity requirements.
• Experience with LDAP for Windows and Linux IDM.
• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI and CI Poly.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification.

Preferred Skills

• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 3 certification (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISSP, etc.).
• Linux certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, CompTIA Linux+, or SANs GCUX.
