Description

You will manage storage operations within a large enterprise SAN and NAS environment. You are responsible for administering Pure Storage and Isilon technologies, ensuring daily resource availability. You will provision storage using PMAX Solution Enabler CLI and manage SAN migrations via SRDF. Your role includes installing and configuring new storage devices and associated software. You troubleshoot storage access, hardware failures, and performance issues, coordinating with vendors as needed. You allocate storage to end-users and development teams while adhering to service level agreements.

Responsibilities

• Administer Pure Storage and Isilon technologies with daily monitoring of resource availability.
• Provision storage using PMAX Solution Enabler CLI and manage SAN migrations via SRDF.
• Install and configure new storage devices and associated software.
• Troubleshoot storage access, hardware failures, and performance issues, coordinating with vendors.
• Allocate storage to end-users and development teams while adhering to service level agreements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SAN administration.
• Deep expertise in Pure Storage administration and Brocade SAN switches.
• Hands-on experience with PMAX, VMAX3, and AFF/FAS filers.
• Proficiency in storage provisioning, zoning, SRDF, clones, and thin provisioning.
• Knowledge of RAID, PowerPath, FAST, and VMware connectivity.
• Experience managing RHEL, Windows, AIX, and Linux operating systems.
• Ability to perform SAN troubleshooting, breakfix, and performance analysis.
• Familiarity with EMC Unisphere, OnCommand, and CMCNE.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting experience in Python or Perl.
• Experience with Netbackup or TSM.
