Description

You will manage and maintain a hybrid infrastructure consisting of Linux, Windows, and VMware environments.

Responsibilities

• Build, administer, and troubleshoot Linux and Microsoft server operating systems.
• Configure and manage VMware infrastructure and storage subsystems including NAS and SAN.
• Administer G-Suite services and integrate SSO with Active Directory.
• Manage network services including DNS, Mail (SMTP, IMAP, POP), and SFTP.
• Perform server backups, data recovery, and OS/application patching.

Required Skills

• 5 to 12 years of hands-on experience in Linux, Windows, and VMware administration.
• Proficiency in storage management with NetApp, EMC, or Pure storage.
• Experience building and managing high throughput database servers on Linux.
• Strong scripting skills using Shell, Perl, or Python.
• Knowledge of automation and configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Kickstart.
• Experience with RAS tools such as Citrix and Parallels.
• Familiarity with server backup technologies like NetBackup.
• Ability to troubleshoot underlying hardware and storage subsystems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Knowledge of F5 DNS and Load Balancer.
