Description

Manage the configuration, operational maintenance, and lifecycle of network integrity and security infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security systems, including firewalls, IDS, and communication systems.
• Develop operational procedures, installation guidelines, and upgrade techniques for security hardware and software.
• Execute detailed test plans to evaluate vendor technologies and provide comparative analysis for procurement.
• Design technical specifications for network, storage, and security configurations, including structured diagrams and documentation.
• Perform log analysis to investigate network outages and provide escalation support for complex issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system administration or network security roles.
• Hands-on experience managing security infrastructure, specifically firewalls and IDS.
• Proven ability to develop technical documentation, system specifications, and network diagrams.
• Experience conducting vendor evaluations and executing formal technology test plans.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing network and security-related outages.
• Ability to coordinate with ITS staff and vendors to plan requirements for new project enhancements.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with structured network diagramming tools.
• Background in procurement analysis for security technologies.
