Description

You will manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, servers, and networking equipment within the data center.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server, Linux, and Unix operating systems, including regular patching and updates.
• Rack, build, cable, and provision Intel and AMD servers within the data center.
• Deploy and manage Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment, including physical cabling and port mapping.
• Troubleshoot server hardware issues and resolve them via trouble tickets with quality assurance.
• Maintain asset management records and document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in system administration or data center operations.
• Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with server provisioning and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience with Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment deployment.
• Knowledge of virtualization environments and GPU/CPU infrastructure.
• Ability to use scripting to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
• Experience with data center tasks including racking, cabling, and hardware installation.
