Description

You will serve as the technical SME for enterprise-wide systems, ensuring product availability for application teams and end users.

Responsibilities

• Manage Windows server administration, including server sizing, configuration, and capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot complex problems across a wide variety of applications and operating environments.
• Collaborate with architects, programmers, and vendors to implement product migrations and enhancements.
• Monitor hardware updates and manage installations using SCCM and SCOM.
• Perform impact analyses on production fixes and participate in product design reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system administration.
• MS Windows Server administration within a large organization.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux knowledge.
• PowerShell scripting.
• Microsoft IIS configuration and support.
• HTTP Server and Apache support experience.
• Active Directory.
• TCP/IP networking.
• VMware.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to develop contingency plans and provide accurate estimates for design and programming efforts.
