Description

You will manage server and application performance to ensure system efficiency, security, and uptime.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor server and application performance metrics to proactively identify and resolve system errors or vulnerabilities.
• Implement security configurations, system hardening, and best practices for all server environments.
• Prepare systems for external audits and work with the internal team to remediate audit findings.
• Perform regular server maintenance and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of server configurations, procedures, and operational best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system administration.
• Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux/Unix-based systems.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms and virtual environments.
• Experience using server performance monitoring tools and security tools including antivirus, encryption, and firewalls.
• Proficiency with automation and scripting tools for routine maintenance tasks.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Load Balancing.
• CompTIA Network+ or an equivalent networking certification.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).
• ITIL Foundation certification.
