Description

You will act as a technical resource on an enterprise backup team within a large, complex computing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage backups within an enterprise backup system.
• Perform system restores to ensure data availability.
• Provide advanced support for Windows and Linux servers.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to coordinate troubleshooting and recovery efforts.
• Conduct business analysis and research to solve complex technical issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system administration or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Linux environments.
• Experience managing Windows systems (including 9x, 2000, XP, NT, Vista, 7).
• Proficiency in enterprise backup and recovery processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Experience handling systems with critical regulatory requirements and strict deadlines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent professional experience.
