Description

You will act as a technical resource for the enterprise backup team, ensuring data availability and system reliability in a complex computing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage backups within the enterprise backup system to maintain data integrity.
• Perform system restores to ensure rapid data availability during incidents.
• Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for Windows and Linux servers.
• Collaborate with IT teams to coordinate recovery efforts and resolve complex technical issues.
• Conduct business analysis and research to address regulatory requirements and strict deadlines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system administration or a related field.
• Hands-on experience managing Linux environments.
• Experience managing Windows systems (including 9x, 2000, XP, NT, Vista, 7).
• Proficiency in enterprise backup and recovery processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Experience handling systems with critical regulatory requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent professional experience.
