Description

You will oversee end-to-end SAP Basis operations, including system installations, configurations, upgrades, and OS/DB migrations across S/4HANA and HANA environments. You will lead SAP landscape architecture efforts, driving RISE/S/4 transformation activities and ensuring optimal system performance.

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-availability, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures for HANA systems to ensure business continuity.
  • Manage transport administration, system refreshes, client copies, and performance tuning using SQL traces and diagnostic tools.
  • Implement automation solutions for routine Basis tasks using scripting to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Handle incident management by performing root-cause analysis, troubleshooting OS-level and application-level issues, and preparing operational documentation.

Required Skills

  • 8–10 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Basis / HANA Administrator.
  • Expertise in S/4HANA, HANA, and SAP BTP.
  • Proven experience with system upgrades, migrations, and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Experience leading SAP Basis teams and managing end-to-end SAP landscape architecture, including RISE/S/4 transformation projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
