Description

You will manage the provisioning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and related infrastructure for the Transportation Operations Center.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy Linux (Red Hat) and Windows operating system servers, as well as desktop and laptop hardware.
• Monitor system resources, application logs, and server anomalies to ensure integrity and availability.
• Perform daily backup operations, file archival, and regular OS patching and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 through Tier 3 support requests, including hardware/software failures and connection issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation for project architecture, inventory, change history, and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Linux (Red Hat) and Windows Server administration.
• 5+ years of experience with desktop, laptop, and server hardware.
• 5+ years of experience with Active Directory Administration.
• 5+ years of experience with VMware virtualization.
• 5+ years of experience with backup and recovery operations.
• 5+ years of experience in help desk and customer service support.
• Ability to participate in a rotating on-call support schedule.

Preferred Skills

• 3 years of experience with SQL databases.
• 3 years of experience with cybersecurity.
• 2 years of experience with Video Management Systems or Audio-Video support.
