Description

Manage and maintain AIX, Linux, and Solaris server environments. Own the full lifecycle of server infrastructure from build to decommission.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy servers from scratch across AIX, Linux, and Solaris platforms.
• Automate infrastructure tasks and custom report generation using Shell and Perl scripting.
• Install, configure, and support VCS cluster services for Redhat servers.
• Execute system upgrades, migrations, data management, security management, and disaster recovery.
• Monitor system health and manage backup failures.

Required Skills

• Experience with AIX, Linux, and Solaris server administration.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting for infrastructure automation.
• Proficiency in Perl scripting for report automation.
• Hands-on experience with Redhat Server and VCS cluster services.
• Knowledge of data management and security management protocols.
• Experience managing disaster recovery and system migrations.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems with 2 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with 5 years of experience.
