Description

System Administrator responsible for building, configuring, and supporting Windows servers in a virtualized environment. You will manage VMware infrastructure, maintain Active Directory, and enforce security controls including vulnerability remediation. Your work ensures the integrity and availability of hardware, storage, and network resources.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain Windows Server installations and optimizations.
• Manage VMware virtualization platforms, including clusters, HA, replication, and vCenter upgrades.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory environments, including Group Policy Objects (GPO).
• Perform daily system monitoring and vulnerability remediation across servers and storage.
• Support file shares, collaborate with developers and service desks, and document system procedures.

Required Skills

• 5-7+ years of experience as a System Administrator in a production environment.
• Expertise in NetApp SAN solutions, configuration, and maintenance.
• Proficient in VMware infrastructure management and Cisco UCS hosting platforms.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, and VLANs.
• Experience with Active Directory administration at the GPO level.
• Ability to perform data and infrastructure migrations.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-based computing, specifically Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency with Commvault for backup and recovery.
