Description

You manage end-to-end patch management and application deployment across diverse Windows and Linux server environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage patch lifecycles for Microsoft Windows and Linux servers to ensure security and compliance.
• Package and build custom applications for deployment or uninstallation using MSI, RPM, and DEB formats.
• Diagnose and resolve complex patching issues, including failed deployments and dependency conflicts.
• Utilize SCCM, HCL BigFix, and Qualys Patch Module for deployment, compliance tracking, and vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain documentation for packaging procedures, troubleshooting steps, and deployment schedules.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft Windows and Linux systems in large enterprise environments.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with patch management and repository management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SCCM for Windows patching and application deployment.
• Experience with Linux repository patching, scheduling, and custom package deployments.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying MSI, RPM, and DEB packages.
• Technical proficiency with HCL BigFix for cross-platform deployment and reporting.
• Experience using Qualys Patch Module for vulnerability detection and remediation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing platform-specific dependency issues.
