You will manage and maintain IMS environments to support business and application requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, patch, configure, and manage IMS v15.x.
• Apply IBM recommended RSU maintenance.
• Design new IMS DB environments based on specific business requirements.
• Configure IMS-DB2 and IMS-CICS connectivity.
• Execute IMS backup, restore, and disaster recovery support.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in system administration.
• Hands-on experience with IMS v15.x.
• Deep understanding of IMS-DB2 and IMS-CICS connectivity.
• Perform ACB swaps and manage DBD, PSB, and ACB.
• Review buffer allocation and fine-tune memory based on workload.
• Manage logs, database structures, and compression.
• Experience with IMS backup, restore, and DR protocols.
• Proficiency in log management and database compression techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
