Manage and maintain system operations within a secure environment in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system problems and collaborate with users to define data availability and report requirements.
• Define system objectives and prepare design specifications to meet user needs.
• Implement system design specifications, including input/output file organization and controls.
• Develop conversion procedures and system implementation plans.
• Provide technical guidance to lower-level personnel.

Required Skills

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with eligibility for DIA-SCI access.
• Ability to pass a DIA CI polygraph within 60 days of hire.
• 5+ years of experience managing Linux Operating Systems.
• 5 years of experience with Shell scripting and/or programming.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Perl, or Python.
• Experience designing dashboards for SIEM environments (Splunk, Elastic, Exabeam, ManageEngine, or Solarwinds).
• Experience with virtualization environments.
• Must obtain Security+CE certification within 90 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, CIS, MIS, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree or higher in a related technical field.
• Experience with VMware, RHV, or KVM.
