Description

You will manage and maintain secure server environments and VDI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and implement secure server environments.
• Negotiate final server specifications based on vendor and project criteria.
• Configure and manage server disk setups including mirror and RAID configurations.
• Administer centralized storage connectivity using iSCSI, CIFS, NFS, or fiber channel.
• Manage multiple concurrent tasks within a change management process.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in system administration.
• 3-4 years of engineering experience focused on designing and implementing secure server environments.
• Deep knowledge of VDI Horizon.
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Cohesity and NetApp storage.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory, Exchange, DHCP, and DNS.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP and server monitoring tools.
• Understanding of clustering versus load balancing.
• Experience with blade server technology and standalone servers.

Preferred Skills

• VMware, Microsoft, or NetApp certifications.
