Description

You will manage and maintain physical host machines within an emulation lab environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support physical host machines in the emulation lab.
• Troubleshoot sporadic emulator host issues alongside the team lead and users.
• Install, provision, and administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Debian-based systems.
• Coordinate, deploy, and configure new host machines to scale emulation infrastructure.
• Write technical documentation and develop automation tools.

Required Skills

• 3 years of experience in system administration.
• Hands-on experience with QEMU hardware emulation.
• Proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Debian-based distributions.
• Experience managing ACL, DNS, NFS, and LDAP.
• Experience with compute farms such as LSF or NC.
• Experience working at IBM on FPGA or chips.

Preferred Skills

• Support chip developers and collaborate with software vendors.
