Description

You will manage and optimize production systems within a retail store environment, ensuring application availability through proactive monitoring and deep-dive debugging.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause assessments and debug server domain issues to maintain system stability.
• Execute configuration changes and create playbooks to ensure quality assurance for store applications.
• Supervise application and system alerts to provide proactive service and maintain business processes.
• Coordinate with engineering and support departments to resolve complex application and system issues.
• Recommend performance optimizations and prepare technical problem reports for production systems.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in POS troubleshooting and POS systems.
• Experience with IBM/Toshiba 4690 OS and NCR R10 retail POS systems.
• 6+ years of experience with Linux, Unix, Windows Servers, and network troubleshooting.
• Deep knowledge of POS hardware devices, controllers, and registers.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• 8+ years of experience in a POS LAB environment.
• ITIL certification and Incident Management skills.
• Experience with Office 365, JIRA, and ServiceNow.
