Description

You will develop and validate 5G and LTE features and KPIs based on NR 5G and LTE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate 5G and LTE new features and KPIs using NR 5G and LTE protocols including ML1, LL1, RRC, RLC, MAC, PDCP, and IP.
• Work on protocol features for Android and iOS applications and manage their validation.
• Fix identified issues and validate fixes through rigorous testing.
• Support customers with troubleshooting and product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with SMEs, development teams, and server teams for feature integration and issue resolution.
• Document user manuals for applications, new features, and new devices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in LTE/5G modem protocol engineering.
• Strong Java programming skills with experience in object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in multi-threading and memory leak optimization.
• Deep knowledge of Android SDK and various Android versions.
• Experience with LTE, CDMA, EvDo, WCDMA, GSM/EDGE, and TCP/IP.
• Experience in wireless modem logging, analysis, capturing, and modem/application processor architectures.
• Hands-on experience with protocol analyzers and test tools including XCAL, QXDM, Wireshark, QCAT, MA, and STT.
• Ability to develop and validate system performance, KPI measurement, and parameter analysis.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Android or desktop application development or validation.
• Domain knowledge in NR 5G NSA, NR 5G SA, LTE, and VoLTE.
