Description

You will serve as the primary point of contact for requirement elicitation and functional specification development in a remote US-based role.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional application requirements.
• Validate requirements for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and traceability.
• Identify project risks, communicate status, and flag scope changes to Project Managers.
• Partner with the Application Architecture team to support resource estimating and sourcing.
• Maintain and file all necessary project documentation.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience in systems analysis or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Mainframe environments, specifically z/OS.
• Proficiency with COBOL, JSON, and OpenShift.
• Direct experience with medical claims adjudication.
• Ability to produce system design documents, including Functional Specs and ADS.
• Ability to contribute to User Story creation and User Story pointing for planning.
• Knowledge of L2 Specifications and Spec by Example methodologies.
• Ability to support Data contracts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Proclaim.
• Experience with Medical Claim processes.
