Description

You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution for software development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into functional requirements, technical design documents (TDD), and solution design documents (SDD).
• Create high-level process flow diagrams, designs, and traceability matrices to ensure solution alignment with requirements.
• Manage stakeholders including project sponsors, architects, developers, and IT leadership to communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Validate system changes, perform high-level UAT, and serve as a liaison between Business and IT to resolve issues preventing testing sign-off.
• Research industry trends and systems integration methods to apply to solution development.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems analysis and business requirement documentation.
• Proficiency with Java 1.6 and higher.
• Experience with J2EE frameworks including Apache Struts, JSF, and Spring.
• Hands-on experience with Junit, log4j, and Ant/Maven.
• Database experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle 11g, or MySQL, including stored procedures, triggers, and views.
• Knowledge of ASP/Javascript.
• Experience with source code management tools such as CVS or Subversion.
• Proven ability to integrate multiple systems and automate data sharing processes.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
• Experience with JBOSS 5.0 or higher.
