Description

You will review, document, and define improvements for Recovery Accounting processes, focusing on charge-offs for Consumer Loans and Credit Cards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process reviews and discovery for Recovery Accounting across Consumer Loans and Credit Cards.
• Gather data on systems, contacts, process gaps, and third-party vendors related to charge-offs.
• Document and evaluate current business and automated processes to identify potential improvements.
• Read source code (COBOL, Java, Lotus Notes) to understand processes and translate them for business stakeholders.
• Collaborate to define features for new charge-off process development.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience.
• Hands-on development experience with REST API and Microservices using Java/Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of creating Open API specifications per REST standards.
• Experience integrating with DB2, SOAP, Mainframe, and REST services.
• Familiarity with Microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Ability to read and analyze COBOL, Java, and Lotus Notes source code.
• Experience deploying API proxies, specifically on MuleSoft Flex Gateway.
• Understanding of REST API development practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mainframe modernization projects.
