You will analyze and improve existing and future processes related to Recovery Accounting for Consumer Loans and Credit Cards.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and discover current business and technical processes related to Charge-offs.
• Document and evaluate business and automated processes for necessary improvements.
• Read source code (COBOL, Java, Lotus Notes) to document processes clearly for business stakeholders.
• Collaborate to define features for new charge-off process development for Consumer Loans and Credit Cards.
• Develop and build REST APIs and Microservices using Java/Spring Boot.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Hands-on development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience creating Open API specifications adhering to REST standards.
• Strong understanding of API proxy deployment using MuleSoft Flex Gateway.
• Experience integrating with DB2, SOAP, Mainframe, and REST services.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Ability to read and interpret COBOL, Java, and Lotus Notes source code.
• Knowledge of REST API development practices.
