Description

You will analyze and improve Recovery Accounting processes for Consumer Loans and Credit Cards, while developing the technical backend for charge-off workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document current business and technical processes related to Charge-offs.
• Read COBOL, Java, and Lotus Notes source code to map existing logic for business stakeholders.
• Define features and build REST APIs and Microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Create Open API specifications adhering to REST standards.
• Collaborate on the development of new charge-off process capabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Hands-on development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience creating Open API specifications for REST services.
• Strong understanding of API proxy deployment using MuleSoft Flex Gateway.
• Experience integrating with DB2, SOAP, Mainframe, and REST services.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Ability to read and interpret COBOL, Java, and Lotus Notes source code.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Azure Cloud services.
