Description

Manage the installation, configuration, and administration of enterprise middleware and application server environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot JBoss application servers in standalone and clustered environments.
• Manage and deploy large-scale applications using Apache, Tomcat, and WebSphere Application Server.
• Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployments and reduce manual tasks.
• Provide real-time technical support, patching, upgrading, and performance tuning for JBoss and Red Hat OS.
• Configure data sources, JDBC providers, and JMS components including connection factories, queues, and topics.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of IT experience designing and supporting large-scale enterprise software systems.
• 5+ years of experience with JBoss Enterprise Application Server (versions 5.1, 6.0, 7.x, and 8.x).
• 5+ years of experience installing and configuring Apache, Tomcat, and WebSphere Application Server.
• 5+ years of experience with DevOps tools, specifically Jenkins, and developing CI/CD pipelines.
• 5+ years of experience with version control using Git, Bitbucket, or similar tools, including branching strategies.
• 5+ years of experience configuring JMS Connection factories, Queues, Topics, and Distributed Queues.
• Proficiency in Bash, Shell Scripting, or other infrastructure scripting.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and using JIRA.
• Ability to work onsite in Dimondale, MI, two days a week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and provide after-hours or weekend support.
