Description

You will evaluate websites and applications for digital accessibility and branding compliance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accessibility testing using manual and automated tools, including screen readers and assistive technologies.
• Test applications across various desktop and mobile devices to ensure standard adherence.
• Document review results thoroughly and provide actionable reports to application support teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with eMichigan team members to optimize processes and ensure compliance.

Required Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
• Proficiency with assistive technologies: JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
• Experience using accessibility evaluation tools: WAVE, Developer Tools, and Accessibility Inspector.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA.
• Ability to test on multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
• Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of digital accessibility testing experience.
• Multilingual capabilities.
