Description

You will manage server builds, OS installations, and patch management for UNIX/Linux environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build servers and manage OS installation and patching processes.
• Install and maintain required software products across UNIX/Linux systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, OS, system software, network, SAN, and NAS issues.
• Automate repetitive tasks using shell or Perl scripting.
• Tune system software for performance and availability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system administration.
• Proficiency with UNIX/Linux systems.
• Experience with system software, network, SAN, and NAS.
• Ability to use Perl scripting for automation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for UNIX/Linux systems on a rotational basis.
