Description

Lead the security architecture vision and strategy to mature the organization's security functions within a new cybersecurity team.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Shape the security architecture strategy and translate high-level goals into actionable roadmaps and reference architectures.
• Provide architectural oversight to ensure alignment between security standards and business objectives.
• Lead the Security Architecture team and oversee existing security architects.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to embed security practices into all technology initiatives.
• Guide security reviews, architectural assessments, and risk management for major projects and enterprise systems.

Required Skills

• Proven experience directing security architecture functions at a Senior Manager level or higher.
• Experience providing strategic leadership and architectural guidance across enterprise security initiatives.
• Ability to translate complex security architecture concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Expertise in advising stakeholders on risk management, security policies, and governance frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience identifying and addressing security gaps across enterprise-scale systems.
• Strong ability to represent security interests during architectural decision-making across business domains.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience at the Director level.
