Description

You will design and own scalable data warehouse solutions leveraging Snowflake on AWS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution design for data warehouse platforms using Snowflake on AWS.
• Architect and oversee data ingestion, transformation, and provisioning pipelines for performance and security.
• Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and logging frameworks for production data environments.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, warehouse sizing, and cost management strategies for production use.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in data architecture and enterprise systems design.
• In-depth experience with Snowflake, including query optimization and virtual warehouse tuning.
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services: S3, Glue, Lambda, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting and optimizing complex production queries.
• Experience managing production support processes, on-call rotations, and incident response.
• Familiarity with data pipeline tools like Airflow or dbt.
• Experience ensuring security, governance, and compliance standards across data lifecycles.
