Description

Design and optimize cloud-hosted architectures to meet technical requirements and organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer IT needs and future goals into actionable architecture plans, design specifications, and requirements.
• Analyze technical diagrams of cloud-hosted solutions to identify optimization opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Establish standards and guidelines for integrated systems operating within distributed cloud environments.
• Manage system configurations and resource security using AWS or Microsoft Azure Government consoles.
• Provide localized governance to ensure system consistency, compliance, and alignment with architectural standards.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in systems architecture or related technical roles.
• Proven experience architecting and developing solutions on AWS.
• Experience participating in and supporting an Architectural Review Board for cloud-hosted environments.
• Experience operating within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Experience writing technical viewpoint analysis papers.
• Experience developing standards and guidelines for localized governance of integrated systems.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Ability to attain a public trust clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with the Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS).
• Proficiency with TOGAF, DoDAF, or other Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
• Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin, Architect, Core Certified Consultant, or IT Service Intelligence Certified Admin.
