Description

You will own the technical design and architectural direction for complex systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Solution Architects and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Design and implement software components, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and standards.
• Provide technical oversight and troubleshoot complex issues to maintain system stability and performance.
• Ensure all products are scalable, secure, and maintainable within their domain.
• Lead multiple architecture engagements, collaborating cross-functionally to hit architectural objectives.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of relevant experience as an architect in enterprises over $500MM.
• Deep knowledge of IT, OT, domain, and business architecture.
• Proven experience directing complex, large-scale architecture initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Expertise in networking, cloud computing (Azure, AWS), and on-premise infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of railroad or broader transportation logistics workflows (dispatch, scheduling, asset management).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data and Intelligence, or related field.
• Experience working closely with Solution Architects.
