Description

Analyze health data and perform statistical modeling to support public health initiatives in Indianapolis.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Clean, process, and analyze complex datasets using statistical software.
• Calculate descriptive statistics and perform appropriate statistical analyses.
• Prepare reports that interpret findings and present statistical results.
• Manage data processes using professional communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Data Analysis, Statistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a data analyst, epidemiologist, or in a related role.
• 2+ years of experience using SAS, R, or Python for data cleaning and analysis.
• 2+ years of experience performing data cleaning and calculating descriptive statistics.
• 2+ years of experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) in a professional setting.
• 2+ years of experience preparing and interpreting statistical reports.
• Strong process and people skills for cross-functional coordination.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with health care databases.
• Proficiency with data visualization in Tableau.
• Master's degree in a relevant quantitative or public health field.
