Description

You design, develop, and maintain manufacturing systems, ensuring uptime and performance while collaborating with business teams to define specifications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and project development for automation, MES, and manufacturing applications.
• Design, develop, implement, maintain, and support manufacturing-related systems.
• Collaborate with business teams to define specifications and requirements.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot database issues, and ensure end-user availability.
• Participate in solution research and technology insertion for continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 10+ years of IT software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Strong SQL queries and database design skills.
• Experience with Linux and AS400 environments.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and applications.
• Knowledge of system analysis methodology and project coordination.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the manufacturing electronics sector or IT manufacturing domains.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and equipment integration.
• Familiarity with Data Integration Services and parametric data integration.
