System Engineer

You will design, deploy, and support RedHat OpenShift infrastructure and containerized workloads in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy RedHat OpenShift infrastructure and manage operational support for multi-node HA clusters.
• Migrate and refactor applications to containerized workloads and microservices architectures.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Nexus, or Tekton.
• Automate configuration management using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Provision clusters with monitoring, performance testing, and application deployment capabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with RedHat OpenShift infrastructure design and deployment.
• Extensive knowledge of Linux Containers (Docker) and Kubernetes.
• 2+ years of experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• 2+ years of experience with foundational AWS work.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Nexus, or Tekton.
• Proficiency in configuration management or scripting via Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Experience with Java, JBoss, Springboot, WAS/WXS, and Node.js.
• Strong understanding of DevOps concepts, tools, and practices.
• Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly in writing and orally.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Helm Charts and SSL certificate management.
• Knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and monitoring/logging tools like SumoLogic or Dynatrace.
• Experience working within Agile teams using Kanban or Sprints.
