Description

Own the system engineering lifecycle for railway signalling projects, from requirements to verification.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop system-level specifications, plans, and technical documentation for railway signalling systems.
• Apply system engineering processes to ensure technical fulfillment of defined needs and enhancements.
• Provide technical support for Verification & Validation (V&V) and RAMS Analysis activities.
• Maintain technical consistency throughout the development lifecycle and align designs with intended architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Architects and Quality Managers.

Required Skills

• 6-12 years of experience in system engineering, specifically with railway signalling systems.
• Deep understanding of ATC, ATS, and CBTC architectures.
• Proficiency with DOORS for requirement management.
• Experience with XML-based documentation and technical writing.
• Strong grasp of V&V and RAMS analysis methodologies.
• BE/B.Tech or M.Tech in a relevant engineering discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of interlocking systems and signalling principles.
• Experience with technical documentation tools beyond DOORS.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
