Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the System Architect to elaborate system/product design, including refinement of hardware and software components.
• Analyze, clarify, and validate input requirements and stakeholder needs.
• Perform conceptual system design, including system modeling, trade-off studies, design principles, real-time analysis, and technical mock-ups for risk reduction.
• Support software design, development, and testing activities across the full lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain formal system specifications following established standards and templates.
• Prepare and conduct module-level tests and verification activities.
• Work closely with global and cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Contribute to standardization initiatives through reuse or development of reusable components.
• Participate in material selection and procurement activities when required.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in railway signaling systems and signaling architectures.
• Proficiency in Embedded C and C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and model-based development methodologies.
• Knowledge of system modeling tools and design frameworks.
• Familiarity with MATLAB for simulation and system modeling.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts.
• Ability to perform system-level design analysis and validation.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering - IT, Computer Science, ECE, EEE, or equivalent
