You will manage and automate Linux/UNIX systems in a highly regulated healthcare environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support mixed Linux and Windows environments within VMWare or cloud-based enterprise infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline system operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations across all system processes and data handling.
• Monitor system performance and logs using Splunk or similar logging technologies.
• Collaborate on software-defined network configurations and system integrations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Linux/UNIX operating systems.
• 3+ years of experience in a highly regulated healthcare environment (HIPAA).
• 3+ years of experience in scripting and automation.
• 3+ years of experience working in mixed Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience with VMWare or other cloud-based enterprise environments.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Familiarity with Splunk, Elasticsearch, or similar logging technologies.

Preferred Skills

• RedHat based Linux experience.
• Experience with SaltStack, Ansible, or Puppet configuration management.
• Knowledge of Software-Defined Networks.
