Description

You will administer and support Windows and Linux server environments, manage virtualization infrastructure, and ensure system security and compliance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server (2012-2022) and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain IIS and Windows Web Servers, managing application pools, bindings, SSL certificates, and authentication.
• Manage VMware vSphere infrastructure (ESXi, vCenter), ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of clusters and datastores.
• Perform OS patching, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening to maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Execute backup, snapshot, and disaster recovery strategies while troubleshooting OS, application, and web server issues.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Windows Server administration and support.
• Hands-on experience with Linux server environments (Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP management.
• Experience administering IIS and Windows Web Servers.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, ports, firewalls).
• Familiarity with patching, security, and compliance standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PowerShell or shell scripting.
• Exposure to VMware or Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud environments.
