Description

Manage physical Dell/HP servers, NetApp storage, and NetBackup appliances while providing Tier 3 support. Maintain MIS systems, application servers, and in-house security solutions across remote offices. Plan and execute disaster recovery, system designs, and migrations. Ensure 24/7 support for warehouse and service lines, handling OS patching, upgrades, and audit compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain physical Dell/HP servers, NetApp storage devices, and NetBackup appliances.
• Manage OS patching, upgrades, and provide Tier 3 support for MIS systems.
• Administer application servers, in-house security solutions, and remote office systems.
• Execute disaster recovery planning, system design, and server migrations.
• Provide 24/7 support for warehouse, service, and packing line infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system engineering with Linux DBA experience.
• Proficiency in VMware-based backup, restores, and cluster maintenance.
• Strong background in Perl and Python scripting.
• Experience with REST API integration and management.
• NetApp volume management including LUN provisioning, iSCSI, FC, CIFS, NFS, and NDMP.
• Server migration, troubleshooting, error log analysis, and permission management.
• Ability to lift 50-pound devices and perform hands-on hardware maintenance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with user authentication and authorization management.
• Background in lab systems support and asset management.
