Description

You will support the end-to-end lifecycle of network simulation tools for a tier 1 mobile service provider.

Responsibilities

• Translate technical requirements from network platform owners into simulation tool design parameters and documentation.
• Design, develop, and analyze simulation solutions to maximize current platform capabilities.
• Execute functional, performance, and reliability testing on simulation tool solutions.
• Identify, document, and resolve technical issues by collaborating with vendors and internal service owners.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including diagrams, test instructions, and MOPs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in telecom systems or network engineering.
• Deep understanding of EPC functionality and nodes in LTE networks (GW, PCRF, PAS, MSP, MME, MIND, OCS), including interfaces, protocols, and call flows.
• Proficiency with TCP/UDP, SSH, TLS, and IP subnetting.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and Linux CLI.
• Experience with VNF setup, VMware, and codecloud.
• Practical experience in script development for network simulation tools.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with network simulation tools such as Landslide.
• VM instantiation, configuration, and routing validation/integration experience.
• EPC troubleshooting and technical documentation development.
