Description

You will lead the planning and execution of smaller projects or defined segments of larger engineering efforts with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and accurate project schedules, coordinating with development and technical support groups.
• Design, program, and develop large-scale PLC, HMI, vision, and servo systems independently.
• Interface with design, engineering, technicians, plant personnel, and vendors to ensure equipment design, fabrication, and assembly succeed.
• Contribute to cost estimating for control engineering portions of capital items and track project budgets.
• Investigate field issues, developing and implementing design improvements and advancing standardization.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Controls Engineering, specifically PLC-focused.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, including Electrical and Pneumatic systems.
• Hands-on experience with electrical control system design.
• Proficiency with Rockwell Automation Software (RSLogix5000/Studio 5000) and HMIs (FactoryTalk View Studio ME/SE).
• Experience with relevant CAD tools, specifically SolidWorks Electrical.
• Ability to effectively run projects and direct technician activities.
• Proven ability to communicate and persuade stakeholders using written and verbal methods.
