Description

You will lead the planning and execution of smaller engineering projects or defined segments of larger efforts with minimal supervision.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules and coordinate with development and technical support groups.
• Design, program, and develop large-scale PLC, HMI, vision, and servo systems independently.
• Interface with design, engineering, technicians, plant personnel, and vendors to ensure successful equipment design, fabrication, and assembly.
• Contribute to cost estimating for control engineering portions of capital items and track project budgets.
• Investigate field issues, developing and implementing design improvements to advance standardization.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Controls Engineering, specifically PLC-focused.
• Proficiency with Rockwell Automation Software (RSLogix5000/Studio 5000) and HMIs (FactoryTalk View Studio ME/SE).
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, including Electrical and Pneumatic systems.
• Hands-on experience with electrical control system design.
• Experience with relevant CAD tools, specifically SolidWorks Electrical.
• Ability to effectively run projects and direct technician activities.
• Proven ability to communicate and persuade stakeholders using written and verbal methods.

Preferred Skills

• Education: Any Graduate.
• Experience with Solidworks and Cad.
