Description

Administer SAS Infrastructure as a Service environments, managing servers, storage, applications, and security tools.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and analyze operating systems, storage, and backups for hosted and internal environments.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot systems management software and security tools.
• Architect system automation for complex software and develop step-by-step support documentation.
• Resolve customer concerns using ServiceNow and interface with internal departments to enhance infrastructure.
• Maintain infrastructure architecture and security policies to meet SLAs and OLAs.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience as an Information Systems Engineer in a heterogeneous environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with Redhat Linux, Windows, and VMware.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, Python, PowerShell, and Perl.
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with infrastructure architecture, including Servers, Network, Security, Storage, and Backup Services.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Ability to perform cost analysis and research for new technology needs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps tools.
• Understanding of information security and data privacy best practices.
