Description

You will manage and maintain core infrastructure systems, ensuring availability, security, and performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and configure servers, operating systems, and system applications.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and regular maintenance, including backup and disaster recovery.
• Ensure system security via access controls, patching, and vulnerability management.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and operational guidelines while providing L2/L3 support.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in system engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Linux (CentOS) and Windows Server.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS and Firewall configuration.
• Experience with security practices and access control implementation.
• Familiarity with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of system virtualization and containerization concepts.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
