Description

You will manage and maintain hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure, leading service migration to AWS while ensuring system availability and security.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement new system structures and IT solutions to optimize cloud and on-premises performance.
• Manage, monitor, and maintain physical and cloud servers, storage, and technology tools.
• Execute patching processes and maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Develop scripts to automate client/server functions using Python or Shell.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support and liaise with vendors for problem resolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a System/Network Administrator or similar role.
• In-depth understanding of AWS and cloud-based infrastructure services.
• Proficiency with Linux (Red Hat) and Microsoft environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with automation using Ansible and scripting in Python or Shell.
• Proficiency with virtualization tools, specifically VMware.
• Knowledge of patch management tools such as WSUS or SCCM.
• Experience with monitoring and SIEM tools including Nagios, Cacti, or Splunk.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices, system security standards (ISO, PCI DSS), and SAN storage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with networking protocols and devices.
• Knowledge of databases, specifically MariaDB.
